Chicago native, Hona Costello, is back with a new West Coast jam/smoking anthem that has been featured on the likes of SmokingSection, YouHeardThatNew, DJBooth, Earmilk, and more called "High". High has been regarded as one of the freshest smoking anthems of the past few years on Smoking Section and has a video in the works directed by "Playne Jane" to be released this summer.
Hona Costello was raised in Chicago Heights, IL - home to legends such as Kanye West, Michael Jordan, Common, and more. During his earlier years, he was signed to IBK/KOCH with group "Detour", which had spawned the critically acclaimed single "Gucci, Louie, Whatever". After leaving the group, Hona traveled to Los Angeles, CA to pursue his dreams. In 2011, he released his debut mixtape "Follow Me" which received over 20,000 downloads and was on TheJourneyThroughLawSchool's "Top 50 Albums of 2011?. His follow up mixtape, "Penelope" is scheduled to be released in the second quarter of 2013.

"The story of your life...who the hell cares? Nobody, if the money ain't there."
Directed by SyncoPatience, "Crumbs" is the third visual project from Original Text's (Ari Why x Tito Fuerte) debut collaborative EP, The Out Number. "Crumbs" tells a story of the Haves and the Have-Nots, Reality vs. Perception and Responsibility vs. Ignorance. Modern life creates a struggle for everyone to receive what they feel they've earned and deserved. A line is drawn between Giver and Receiver, but there are two sides to every story and sometimes those lines can be blurry and faded.

The first show introduced Atlanta artists to the Tampa Bay scene, and was received with overwhelming support. The word is that the Atlanta showcase will follow in March bringing out the Tampa artists to Atlanta's fan base. Here's some information from their previous press release.
"This is not just another rap show, but rather the next step in the evolution of Hip Hop events. Rather than relying on promoters or so-called tastemakers to deem them worthy, A2BAY is fueled and funded by the artists themselves.
Joe Stu, Imagiin360 and Infinite Skillz lead this enterprising group that aims to create a pipeline between Atlanta and the Tampa Bay area.
A2BAY will connect these two Hip Hop hotbeds and shed light on the emerging talent these areas have to offer. It provides unencumbered space for fans throughout the Southeast, one of the most fertile Hip Hop regions, to gain greater access to the music powering this entrepreneurial movement."- A2Bay Press Release (December 2012)
